Huebound

Exploring Reality. I'm Ethan. I spend my time trying to understand how the world works. I talk to a lot of strangers, and try nearly everything available to me. I'm obsessed with finding gaps in the world that force me to dig deeper.

Usually, these gaps are from my own understanding, but once in a while, I find gaps in reality. Places where the world hasn't caught up to itself.

I've been living inside one my whole life.

My senses don't stay in their lanes. I have an overclocked sense of smell, and it comes with colors. Coffee is white. Gasoline is pink and cubic. Vanilla is rubbery. Cut grass is jagged. Mustard is a pressure that warps. I didn't know it was unusual until I mentioned it at 22, someone told me their gasoline wasn't pink. I'm bound to hues I didn't choose. Hence the name.

I think dozens of gaps in reality are walking around with us, waiting to fall after a bit of poking. I try to spend a lot of my time doing the poking. If a gap is interesting enough, I create something I think needs to exist. Usually through code, but sometimes through investments, writing, or other projects.

Most of my time is spent talking to strangers and friends, and I hope it always will be. My next biggest time-sink is programming. After that it's chasing girls spending time with my girlfriend, investing, reading paperbacks, working out, and studying cs + art at the university of southern california. In that order.

I don't claim to be a great programmer, investor, entrepreneur or artist. But I learn quick, and act quicker.

Given infinite time, I'd love to learn about everything. But most of my interests trend towards Artificial Intelligence, Decentralized Finance, Human Connection, Social Dynamics, or Startups (but not the Silicon Valley kind), the one man, bootstrapped, guerrilla kind.
